Recurrence After Radical Treatment: 4th Edition

As physicians, we have to follow the guidelines and recommendations. We have to track the evidence from the prospective trials. And finally, we have to incorporate the new developments into clinical practice—all of these sums in the patients’ outcomes. Prostate, breast and skin cancer recurrence after radical treatment is one of the trending topics lately. There is an instant need to treat such patients. Despite the constant development in the field, the treatment of the relapsing disease stays controversial and unsettled. Recommendations are scarce, data are inconsistent, and the experience is restricted to a few. It gives new hope for our patients, but for us who conduct the treatment may be a journey to the unknown. That’s why we should share our experiences and educate each other.
